Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Manufacturers recommend annual checkups catch small problems early, extend system life, and protect your water supply. Here at Phipps Water Solutions, we offer annual well pump maintenance to keep your system running reliably year after year.

We offer Simple Pump hand pumps. Custom made to each well based on depth and static water level. Before ordering a hand pump, we require a 50% of the estimated cost. Pump will arrive between 4-6 months after payment.

It depends on your well depth, water needs, and pressure requirements. We assess your system and recommend the best fit.

Tank size is based on your household water usage and pump type. A properly sized tank prevents short cycling and wear.

This may be due to a faulty pressure switch, clogged pipe, or worn pump. We diagnose and fix pressure issues quickly.

Standard systems use a pressure switch that turns the pump on and off at set pressure levels. You may notice the water pressure fluctuates lightly as the pump cycles on and off during use.

Variable speed systems automatically adjust the pump speed based on water demand to maintain more consistent water pressure throughout the home. This provides smoother performance, improved comfort, and can reduce wear on the system over time.
